Horsey Haven is a peaceful and safe retirement home for equines located on over 12 acres in Newcastle California, just 30 minutes from downtown Sacramento.  We offer a special home for a limited number of retired horses in a relaxed, knowledgeable and caring environment. We have large pastures (several acres each)  with safe fencing, shelters and shade to protect our equine friends in all types of weather.  We keep the pastures green so the horses can happily nibble, but their diet is always supplemented with high-quality hay twice a day.  (We also have non-irrigated pastures for those easy keepers!)
